About this product
The King Cobra II Senior Oversize Iron Set is a 7-club set of irons (3-9, no pitching wedge) for right-handed men, featuring graphite shafts with senior flex. These clubs are 3 inches under standard length, making them suitable for shorter or junior golfers. The set includes Black Widow grips and uses the King Cobra IQ System Senior shaft model. The irons have an oversize head design for added forgiveness. This set is made in the United States and is graded as 8 out of 10, indicating good condition.
Our take
This iron set is a practical choice for senior or junior golfers who need shorter clubs. The 3-inch under standard length is a key feature, as it accommodates players who are shorter in stature or have a more compact swing. The oversize head design increases the sweet spot, which helps with off-center hits, a common issue for less experienced players. The senior flex graphite shafts are appropriate for slower swing speeds, promoting higher launch. However, the set lacks a pitching wedge, so buyers must purchase one separately. The price is budget-friendly, making it an affordable option for those not ready to invest in a full set. The Black Widow grips provide a secure hold, but the set's condition (grade 8) suggests some wear.
