About this product
The Walter Hagen AWX 5 is a right-handed 5-wood with a senior flex graphite shaft, featuring a stainless steel head and a 42.5-inch length. It comes with OEM grips and is part of the AWX model line. This club is designed for senior golfers, offering a lightweight and flexible option for increased swing speed and distance.
Our take
For senior golfers looking to regain distance and launch, the Walter Hagen AWX 5 wood is a budget-friendly option. The senior flex graphite shaft is designed to help generate more clubhead speed with a smoother tempo. The stainless steel head provides durability and a solid feel. At 42.5 inches, it's a standard length for a 5-wood, offering a balance between control and distance. This club is ideal for those who struggle with long irons or want a reliable fairway wood. However, the senior flex may be too soft for players with faster swing speeds, and the budget price suggests it may not have the latest technology. It's a good entry-level or backup club, but serious golfers might prefer a more premium option.
